    Re: 2011 Football Schedules

Johnson County must be having a hard time finding teams to travel to Mtn. City from NET. Isn't JI Burton playing them also? I was touring Rye Cove website the other day and saw they had their schedule posted. Its much easier than it has been in recent years. I thought I had heard they were dropping Burton and keeping Appy, but apparently that was reversed.

    8/12 @ Twin Valley (6 team jamboree)
    8/19 @ Pound (benefit game)
    8/26 @ Northwood
    9/2 JI Burton
    9/9 Han**** County, TN
    9/16 Open
    9/23 Castlewood
    9/30 @ Holston
    10/7 Coeburn
    10/14 @ Thomas Walker
    10/21 Ervinton
    10/28 @ St. Paul
    11/4 @ Twin Springs

    Re: 2011 Football Schedules

I have no idea what JIB is going to do, we had a hard enough time finding teams to fill the open slots that came open this year before the forcing of Appy and Pound into the other schools. Not sure what route they are going to go to find the remaining two games. They may have already decided but I haven't seen anything yet.

I thought it was a little odd that RC/Burton was moved to week 2 when its usually been Burton/Appy week. Castlewood, Twin Springs, may need games if St. Paul is folded into Coeburn.

Tell me about it it is not going to be easy for Clintwood eather and the big thing is IF it happens the teams will have next to no time to do it

If Clintwood wanted to set up something temporary, I would get on the horn with RC. If CW still played Appy the next to last game of the season, that would fall in line with RC playing SP.

I dont know if it would be recipricated, but I know in general that is how things line up. You never know till you check into it and it wouldn't hurt any of these schools to setup some contingency plans.
